Breezy Rodio

With a mix of old school and modern soul and blues hits in his musical catalog, the Chicago musician Breezy Rodio has had a vast array of global success. His talent on the guitar has allowed him to gain popularity with original works, but has been known to have fun with some covers during his shows.

Delmark Records just released his second album with the band after completing a tour of Japan, Brazil, Europe, Canada and many other countries. Breezy and the band also perform regularly at all the major clubs and events in Chicago and the US.

His first Delmark release, “Sometimes The Blues Got Me” made it to number 1 nationwide one the Roots Music Report as “Best Blues Chicago Album Year 2018”. Also, in 2018 Breezy was honored to receive a nomination for the Blues Blast Music Awards under the category of “Rising Star of the Year”.

In 2019, he headlined at the Chicago Blues Festival and this past September, performed for Governor J.B. Pritzker in Tokyo, Japan for the trade conference between the US and Japan.

His new album was recorded in Austin,Texas with Texas blues legend, Anson Funderburgh, in February of 2022. Breezy plans to release this new body of work, June 2022.

Breezy’s latest Delmark release, “If It Ain’t Broke Don’t Fix It”, out this past October, , is receiving rave reviews in major music magazines worldwide.
