The Kim Donnette Band is a 5-piece American Blues, Rock,and Groove band from Hallsville, Texas. The band was formed in 2019 when a collection of professional musicians that were drawn together by a desire to put out original music with a great groove. While the music is diverse it is clear, they can’tget enough Koko Taylor, Beth Hart, Gladys Knight, or Janis Joplin. Their unique brand of entertainment fuses Kim’s dynamic vocals and command of the stage with the accents ofsoulful sax, funky rhythms, driving bass, and imaginative guitar leads. This is not a concert; this is a show, moving from light, energetic moments to hard-driving, kick-ass Blues/Rock! Audience interaction involves custom songs created on the spot for those anniversaries or birthdays that will make you want to groove your assets.

Now hailed as North Texas Blues Champs Band Category by Trinity River Blues Society of Dallas-Fort Worth and North Texas, they have over 100 years of combined entertainment experience and have played the Denton Blues Festival, Simply Texas Blues Festival, Gregg County Fair, Hot Springs Battle of the Blues Bands.
