I’m excited to share some fantastic news and upcoming events with you! First, please join me in welcoming Dave Keltner as our new Head Writer for the Newsletter and Website, and Zoe White as the Director of our new YouTube channel and TikTok!

Mark your calendars for the Dallas International Guitar Festival from May 2nd to 4th, where we’ll have a booth and be scouting talent for the North Texas Blues Challenge! From May 1st to June 30th, we’re looking for talent in Band, Solo/Duo, and Youth categories. Winners will earn a spot in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis 2026!

Don’t miss the Inaugural DIVA BASH at River View Ranch on May 10 at 6 PM. We’ll have a booth at this event celebrating early Mother’s Day with delicious food, live music, and lakeside concerts. Tickets are $35 if purchased by May 7th, which includes dinner.

We’ll have booths at every event, showcasing our new t-shirts! Stop by to grab one and consider joining or renewing your TRBS membership.

Additionally, our next Meetup will be at The Fender Bender’s Sunday Jam featuring special guests from Texas Women in Music! Enjoy great food and a lively atmosphere as the Trinity River Blues Society will be there to celebrate. We always have a blast at these events, so don’t miss out!

I’m also thrilled to introduce Alan Tilson (aka Dr. T) as our new Live Music Event Ambassador, dedicated to promoting our talented local musicians.
