As we embrace this festive season, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Shake Anderson Band, EJ Mathews Solo/Duo, and Izaiah Forman Trio Youth for winning our North Texas Blues Challenge!
These phenomenal musicians are set to take their talents to Memphis for the International Blues Challenge in January 2025, proudly representing TRBS, Dallas, Fort Worth, and the entire North Texas region. We can’t wait to witness your brilliance on the international stage in Memphis!
🎉 I’m absolutely thrilled to share some exciting updates as we gear up for the electrifying “Road to Memphis January 2025”! 🚀 As many of you know, the Trinity River Blues Society (TRBS) proudly participates in the International Blues Challenge (IBC) by sending our talented bands and solo/duo acts to compete. Over the years, we’ve experienced incredible success, with several of our acts reaching the semifinals. Each competitor performs over the first two nights of the event at various venues, vying for the chance to advance to the finals. The IBC will take place from January 7-11, 2025, on the iconic Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee!
