๐ŸŽ‰ Breaking News from The Trinity River Blues Society! ๐ŸŽ‰

We are thrilled to announce our newest Board Member, Aquarius Fletcher, as our Strategic Development Advisor! ๐ŸŒŸ Join us in celebrating this incredible talent, who dons many hats: singer, drummer, band leader, mother, grandmother, and a fierce cancer survivor! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’– Born in Dallas, TX and raised in Oak Cliff, Aquarius is one of the few female singing drummers in the DFW Metroplex.

At just 13, she saved up to buy her first orange Pearl drum set and taught herself to drum and sing simultaneously. Inspired by legends like Karen Carpenter, Don Henley, Phil Collins, and Levon Helm, her musical journey is as vibrant as her spirit! ๐ŸŽถ In the ’90s, she played in a cover band with her siblings called The KIDZ, entertaining at local hotspots, including Deep Ellum and events for the Dallas Sheriff.

The KIDZ transitioned into a duo called Dark Soul, where she and her brother created heartfelt original music, even landing a spot on radio station Q102 with their song โ€œFor All I Know.โ€ Now, as the leader of the Aquarius All Star Band, she brings the classics from the ’60s to 2000s, along with Blues, Motown, and Country. Her beautiful vocals and passionate drumming have garnered a loyal following, with a superb lineup including Tom Gamez, Doug Stanwick, and Pat Lancaster. If you love blues-rock, don’t miss her performances across DFW! ๐ŸŽค๐Ÿฅ

Follow Aquarius Fletcher and the Aquarius All Star Band for the latest shows and events. We are so excited to have her on our Board and can’t wait for all the amazing things to come!
