Dear Blues Enthusiasts and Supporters,

I am delighted to announce the remarkable winners of The Trinity River Blues Society’s highly anticipated “North Texas Blues Challenge”! In the Band Category, the extraordinary Shake Anderson Band claimed the top prize, while the outstanding EJ Mathews impressed the audience in the Solo/Duo category. Izaiah Forman Trio emerged victorious in the youth category. Congratulations to these talented musicians for their exceptional performances!

These winners will now have the incredible opportunity to represent TRBS and North Texas at the esteemed International Blues Challenge (IBC) in Memphis in January 2025. We have full confidence that they will make us proud on the Road to Memphis!

A heartfelt thank you to all who participated in and supported the TRBS Blues Fest, contributing to its tremendous success. Your dedication to the blues is truly inspiring!
