CALL FOR COMMITTEE MEMBERS – Trinity River Blues Society
The Trinity River Blues Society is growing, and we’re looking for passionate, dependable, community minded individuals who want to help us continue our mission of preserving, promoting, and celebrating the blues.
If you love music, believe in giving back to the community, and are ready to bring your talents, ideas, and energy to the table, we would love to hear from you!
We are currently seeking individuals interested in serving on TRBS committees, including areas such as:
Events & Festivals
Marketing & Social Media
Fundraising, Sponsorships & Donations
Grant Writing & Development
Membership & Community Outreach
Youth & Education Programs
Blues in Schools Initiative
Volunteers
Artist & Musician Relations
Community & Business Partnerships
Interested in being considered?
To be considered, please send a short bio to angela@trinityriverblues.org and answer the following questions:
1. Why are you interested in serving on a Trinity River Blues Society committee?
2. Which committee or area interests you most?
3. What skills, experience, professional connections, or resources could you bring to the organization?
4. Have you previously served on a nonprofit, community, music, arts, or event committee? If so, please tell us about your experience.
5. Are you comfortable working as part of a team and following through on assigned responsibilities?
6. How much time are you realistically able to commit each month?
7. Are you available to attend committee meetings and assist with TRBS events when needed?
8. What new ideas would you like to bring to the Trinity River Blues Society?
9. Are you willing to help promote TRBS programs, events, membership, fundraising initiatives, and donation efforts?
10. What does supporting and preserving the blues community mean to you?
We are looking for working committee members who are ready to participate, contribute ideas, complete assignments, and help move the organization forward.
You do not have to be a musician to make a difference. There are many ways to use your talents to support the blues!
