On behalf of the Jones and Marshall families and Trinity River Blues Society, we invite you to celebrate the life and legacy of Ralph C. Jones one of the founders of TRBS!
Ralph was a true pillar in the blues community, and we will honor him the way he would have loved, through music and fellowship.

Visit the Trinity River Blues Society booth in the Festival Media Section. Bring your guitar, plug into our amp, and strut your stuff. We will be signing up acts for the Blues Challenge, selling TRBS merchandise, and taking photos with the crowd.
Volunteers are also needed. Volunteering is a great way to connect with the TRBS team and enjoy the festival experience.

The Trinity River Blues Society Challenge and Festival is set for August 2, 2026.
Platinum Music Complex
Registration deadline is July 1, 2026. Categories include solo, duo, youth, and bands. This is your opportunity to compete and represent TRBS in Memphis.

Promote Your Events for FREE on the TRBS Calendar
The Trinity River Blues Society maintains a calendar of North Texas events where local and touring artists can promote their performances. Our calendar features clickable links to band pages and performance venues with maps. The search function helps fans find your band and supports recurring events such as blues jams, podcasts, and broadcast radio series.
Artists can submit entries by visiting the TRBS Calendar page, scrolling to the bottom, and clicking Add Event. The TRBS Live Events Team will receive your details and quickly update the calendar. You can also edit or update your event after it is published.
