Our heartfelt condolences go out to the families in the Kerrville community who have been affected by the devastating flooding. Our prayers are with all those impacted by this tragedy, and we stand in solidarity with you during this challenging time.

Recent Meetups

We are thrilled to report the resounding success of our two recent meetups this past Sunday! The first was held at the Poop Deck in Fort Worth, in collaboration with Texas Women in Music, followed by a dynamic gathering at the Bohemian Bull in Grapevine. Both events were filled with energy and camaraderie. Keep an eye on our Facebook page and your inbox for announcements regarding future meetups and jams!

Trinity River Blues Society’s 2nd Annual Blues Fest Featuring the North Texas Blues Challenge


Mark your calendars for the highly anticipated North Texas Blues Challenge (NTBC), set to take place on August 3, 2025, at Poor David’s Pub in Dallas. Doors will open at 12:30 PM. Selected musicians will represent the Trinity River Blues Society, as well as the Dallas, Fort Worth, and greater North Texas regions at the prestigious International Blues Challenge (IBC) in Memphis, TN, from January 13-17, 2026.

Join us for a sensational indoor event celebrating music, community, and camaraderie at the 2nd Annual Trinity River Blues Festival, featuring the North Texas Blues Challenge! This event promises extraordinary performances from talented youth, solo/duo acts, and exceptional bands competing for a chance to take the stage in Memphis.

What to Expect:

– Live Music: Enjoy captivating performances from competing musicians and our featured artist, the incredible Joyce Spencer.

– Food & Vendors: Savor delicious food and explore a variety of vendors showcasing unique products.

– Raffles & Merchandise: Participate in exciting raffles and snag some fantastic TRBS merchandise.

This is a free event, so gather your friends and family and immerse yourselves in the rhythm and soul of the Blues! We look forward to seeing you there!

Auction Items Needed – Spread the Word

As we prepare for the North Texas Blues Challenge on August 3, we are in need of auction items to ensure the success of this event.
